B2B Technology Copywriter
Full time (permanent, hybrid)
Curious Cat Digital are a fast-growing boutique digital marketing agency specialising in Fintech and financial services. We are looking for a copywriter with 3 + years experience writing in the B2B technology space. The successful candidate must have a good understanding of content marketing strategy and have a demonstrable track record of simplifying complex subject matter. You will be writing across a range of different formats including, whitepapers, blogs, email and web copy. The role will be hybrid with 1-2 days in our Marlborough office.
Key accountabilities for the role
· Writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
· Driving the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
· Understanding different language styles that appeal to various target markets
· Developing and maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice
· Experience of writing across multiple formats including web copy, whitepapers, thought leadership pieces and blog articles.
· Familiarity with commonly used style guides
· The ability to interpret and develop tone of voice guidelines
· Able to carry out thorough research and use data to back up opinions.
· An understanding of storytelling and how it can be used to create impactful and memorable copy
· A good understanding of content strategy and the ability to successfully interpret and communicate content ideas aligned with client goals.
· A familiarity with SEO and the ability to write copy optimised for search engines
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Self-motivated and organised
Requirements
· 3 years experience copywriting in B2B
· 3 years experience in B2B content strategy
· Experience using HubSpot (preferred not essential)
· Attention to detail
· An interest in the B2B tech / Fintech space
· A familiarity with SEO and the ability to write copy optimised for search engines
